Accommodation Prices

Please note: on all types of accommodation the price for one week includes accommodation from Sunday to Saturday. To avoid expenses for extra nights, please schedule your arrival on Sundays and your departure on Saturdays.

Studios on GLS Campus

Prices per person. Prices include:

• Loft architecture
• Very high ceilings
• Fon and TV
• WLAN access for your lap top
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Ensuite bathroom with shower (standard) or shower + bathtub (superior)
• bedsheets & linen
• breakfast

Studio Surcharges for

• Cleaning fee for end-of-stay-cleaning: Euro 30
• Deposit of Euro 100, which will be returned, unless damage has been caused to the studio
• Extra night single room: EURO 55 (standard), EURO 70 (superior)
• Extra night in shared double room: EURO 30 (standard), EURO 35 (superior)
• Half board: EURO 70 per week (available only as of July 2006)
• Full board: EURO 105 per week (available only as of July 2006)
• transfer from/to Berlin airport or station on arrival and departure: 40 EURO one way
• weekly summer surcharge of 28 EURO per person (standard) or of 42 EURO per person (superior) from 24.06.2007 - 11.08.2007

Shared flats near Brandenburg Gate (only in July and August)

Bookable from July 1 - August 25, 2007. The prices are identical with those for GLS standard studios on campus. Please note: no summer surcharge!

• fully equipped kitchen, living room
• bed sheets and towels
• Stereo system, cable TV, clock radio
• washing machine or dishwasher

Surcharges for

• Cleaning fee for end-of-stay-cleaning: Euro 30
• Deposit of Euro 100, which will be returned, unless damage has been caused to the studio
• Extra night single room: EURO 55
• Extra night in shared double room: EURO 30
• transfer from/to Berlin airport or station on arrival and departure: 40 EURO one way

Homestay

• single room in an apartment shared with German(s)
• you get your own key
• bedsheets and towels
• you can use the kitchen when you book homestay with breakfast or self catering
• transfer from/to Berlin airport or station when you book homestay & half board

Please note: If you book homestay & half board, the commuting time to school may be longer than with the options breakfast or self catering. The reason: hosts able to cook for you in the evening tend to be wealthier and thus often live on the outskirts of the city center.

At a surcharge:

• transfer from/to Berlin airport or station on arrival and departure: 40 EURO one way (except on homestay & half board)
• weekly summer surcharge of 16 EURO (homestay & self catering and homestay & breakfast) or of 30 EURO (homestay & half board) from 24.06.2007 - 11.08.2007
